About Storibook Designs

Drawing upon her professional clothing and textile background, Sarah Devaney-O’Neil, home furnishings designer and artisan, founded StoriBook Designs, combining her skills with a creative and colorful eye, to offer innovative and imaginative designs for the homes of today’s busy families.

Sarah believes that interior decorating should be fun, yet functional. It should reflect the personal interests and tastes of the homeowner– or even the room’s individual occupant. “At StoriBook, our goal is to work closely with our customers in their quest to decorate their homes so that they truly feel at home.”  Not only do customers benefit from a design and/or product(s) that they love, but they enjoy the process as well because Storibook Designs is known just as much for the amazing detail in their craftsmanship as they are for the warm and engaging way in which they work with their clients.

The Storibook Designs customers appreciate the sense of sophistication, without intimidation, and the comprehensive approach that considers their lifestyle, family needs and budget.  Sarah and her design staff consider wall colors, wallpapers, personal objects, lifestyle and personality.  Ingenious at sourcing fabrics, carpeting, colors, finishes, etc., they possess tremendous skill for matching the perfect fabric, color, design and artist to the client.

Working with Storibook Designs is like shopping with a friend; it is one of the most individually-oriented design studio’s one could hope for.  Providing for both residential and commercial clients, Storibook Designs considers windows to walls and everything in between.  From start to finish, they source, design, render, illustrate, fabricate and install their projects.

Storibook Designs welcomes the opportunity to share their love of textiles, color, pattern and design to create custom home furnishings that reflect your taste, comfort and personality.  Every project is unique, every design is individual.

Sarah brings 20 years of professional experience to Storibook Designs, including sales/design and upper management positions at both Calico Corners and The Fabric Place, two leading retailers of fine home furnishing fabrics, upholstery and custom services. This is also her second venture as an independent business person, having founded and run a wholesale clothing business, Sadie Towler Designs in the 90’s.  Sarah also holds a BS in Clothing and Textiles from Framingham State College and a Masters Degree from Lesley University’s School of Management.
