Events & Classes 

Sarah’s vision for Storibook Designs has never been on a singular path.  Aside from the custom work, Sarah incorporated plans that would allow the opportunity to reach out to the local community, home sewers and young audience in order to ensure that the historical art of fine sewing and craftsmanship was carried forward.  Since 2005, Storibook Designs has sponsored interns from Endicott College, Suffolk University and Wentworth Institute.  Sarah has also sought out collaboration with the Clinton Public School System, inviting in one Step-Up to Excellence student 2 days a week, participating in the Career Day at Clinton Middle School and is looking forward to soon offering special events for middle- and high-school students.

In addition to Storibook Designs showroom events, Sarah offers classes & presentations on various home decorating topics to private groups and associations, such as the Assabet Valley Chapter of Mothers & More, the Women's Ministry, Village Church in Lancaster, and the local chapter of the American Sewing Guild. 
  • Seminars typically last for about 2 hours (1.5 hours with 1/2 hour for questions). Proper planning requires atleast a 2-month advance booking.
  • Seminars are tailored specifically to the unique needs/requests of the audience (i.e., classes for kids, teens, moms, seniors, men, etc.)
  • Seminars are currently booked as evening sessions.  Daytime sessions will be considered, however a 6-month advance booking is required

In addition to private classes, Storibook Designs offers several VIP invitation-only events to members of their mailing list.  These events include:

Always keep an eye out for announcements and a schedule of classes – both live and via teleseminar – on a variety of home decorating topics.  Based on our survey responses, many of you are just waiting to dig in and get started on your own projects.
